Elder!

 

Not on best form at the moment, but every striker has a blip so im not gonna say hes been fabulous so far this season or have a pop at your claret strikers, But If we still have him in 3 seasons time i believe he'll turn into one of the best players weve ever seen at the new lodge!

 

The lads potenial is remarkable!

Well given that the only other strikers to have scored for your lot are Moralle and J.Edwards - and they've got a quite remarkable 1 each. That's 6 league goals in 17 games - or if you play 2 up as you did in both games against us 34 starts. Danny Hockton has scored 7 goals from 11 starts in the league - a strikerate roughly 3 times better than all your strikers combined.

As for inaccurate if kevin considers 16 appearances out of a possible 19 to be "hardly getting a game" then I suggest that there's no point any player ever trying their luck at a higher level.

I would suggest that you're all fired up about us losing your rent (the missing £20k) that the chance to make it up with the possible sale of a player to a higher club, sticks somewhat in your craw...what was the price sean put on Nathan? 100k? Yeah well played Tom !!!

 

The dream of every footballer is to play to the highest level that they can so noone could argue that if Nathan went to Northampton it would be a once in a lifetime move. Whether it happens or not, and whether he cuts it at that level only time will tell.

Aha, the thoughts of Chairman Simon. So, 16 games mainly sub (as you yourself stated) out of 19 is hardly top going is it old son...or did he come on after only one minute of each game? Take it stats are one of your weaker subjects in life...
