I'd be interested to hear John Gibson's views of the ejections on Saturday. I hope we're not going to be slated in the matchday programme again, or made an example of.

 

I recall he said of EFM a couple of months ago, "one more incident by any one of you, and you'll all be banned." <img src="/forums/images/icons/frown.gif" alt="" />

I'm not sure what he'd be able to add. He probably saw Costello and Thornsey being ejected and assumed the worst. He probably doesn't know the facts. The sooner we get the CCTV footage the better.

According to club officials, Thornsy was spotted being ejected. I fear the worst.

Unfortunately City probably work on the same "reserve the right to refuse entry" as Stockport.

 

It may be best to collect the views of people who were there including those of Stockport fans who have seen this all before.

 

Then if a letter detailing the complaints is sent to Stockport/the stewards/the press I suggest it is copied to John Gibson who will hopefully then see that any ejections were as a result of over zealous stewarding and not the actions of City fans and that the situation has subsequently been dealt with in an adult manner with complaints to the appropriate people.

 

If anyone is then banned then the justification would have to be strong. I would hope that if members of the supporters club witnessed the incidents that they would support the fans ejected and make the appropriate representations to the club who could then in turn express their views to the appropriate people (the FA and Stockport).

 

One hopes that if City fans were innocent that decisions are not made by the club on the basis of previous incidents this season.

I am not efm I have not always seen "it". I would stand up anywhere and state efm the firm the voice was in the process of finding a seat, indeed was actually sitting down when "pulled"

thats true! he stood up too see the action because a post was in his way then he lost his seat! so he came and sat next to me,then the next thing we know is that he is thrown out of the ground!

The real point is that he was " selected" out of at least 25 people standing up. I genuinely feel that there is a list of "Troublemakers" and pictures which are circulated by clubs eg Chester and the like and these are used to target people.

Thats why it's important to get your data from them, this doesn't only include CCTV footage but any written stuff, photos, e-mails sent, any correspondance about yourself.

Cynic, I think you're on the right track with your earlier comment. I suspect someone has pointed the finger. If you look at those ejected, they are all EFM. To randomly pick 6 from 25 is unlikely. JS wasn't at Chester as I recall and I'm not sure about Ben. This leads me to conclude that someone closer to home has given them a tipoff. If that is the case, then I doubt if we'll ever find out who it was.
