Spoke to the guys at the club house yesterday, they said Charlie Mitten is OK, he gave himself a really bad dead leg by landing on a piece of raised pitch. Apparently the physio worked miracles to get some feeling back into the leg. Hospital was not necessary, though he is likely to miss out on saturday. Another casualty of another disgusting Ryman premier pitch.

I'm quite impressed with our physio.

I noticed on Monday that he was very aware of what was going on on the pitch, and several times anticipated that he would be called on for assistance, thus getting to the injured player quickly.

Watching him work with Lee before the match, and Hasim at Hampton, he seems to know his stuff.

I'm very pleased that Charlie is not too badly injured.

Just an open suggestion but is there a possibility of them looking at a local goalie? Surely it doesn't matter if they do not play in the rhyman league?
I know a local goal keeper that would be more than willing to offer his services. Any suggestions?

Are you really that good Paul? If so, why are you still playing locally?

Give them a ring Paul.Surely even you cant let 22 goals in, in two matches surely.Offer to do it for "free" and you never know, they might consider it.

Work and to be honest cookie when I was younger I was not as tall as the others my age so I never made it. Played alot of Sunday football though and against the majority of the Ramsgate squad over the years. Ask Tony what im like! Im very critical of myself so i'd leave opinions to others.

He has my full support, I think if your given an opportunity as good as this then you have to grab it by the horns and do your stuff!

Theres no harm in asking and giving them your all. Everybody has to start somewhere and unfortunatly if you don't ask, you don't get!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
