A Bit of a Result for Corby

The following press release was issued from the Corby Borough Council’s chief executive Chris Mallender and council leader Cllr.Pat Fawcett this morning:

 

“We are on the verge of announcing a £1m plus package of ground improvements for The Rockingham Triangle Stadium, which will benefit both Corby Town Football Club and Corby Athletics Club. The improvements, which will be carried out in 2006/07 will provide state of the art spectator, fitness and corporate entertainment facilities. This will be backed by £300,000 of private sector investment.”

Main Council = 18 Lab, 9 Con, 2 LibDem.
