Well the word weird means strikingly odd or unusual, and the film is wierd becasue the way it goes backwards and fowards but then again i take back what i said about it being weird becasue it is actually quite a good film jsut deos ya head in with all the backwards and forwards bits, were it goes half way through then goes back and does it from a different point of veiw......."

Education time...

So you understand that this is a multi-strand narrative film, correct? All character driven, from different points of view?

Now, if I remember correctly the stories actually begin with John Travolta & Samuel L. Jackson visiting 'Brad' and his friends while they're eating Breakfast and finish with Bruce Willis riding away with his girlfriend on the Chopper.

The stories move along like this:

- Travolta & Jackson visit Brad to pick up the briefcase.
- While driving along Travolta accidentally shoots Marv in the head resulting them in taking a detour to 'Jimmy's' house, (played by the Director, Quentin Tarantino.)
- Once there they change into the plain clothes
- They then arrive at the Cafe where Tim Roth and his girlfriend hold the stick-up, (the very first scene shown).
- After Jackson retrieves his 'Bad Mother [****!!****]' wallet they leave and return to 'Marcellus Wallace's' 'hangout' where he is talking to 'Butch' the Boxer, (played by Bruce Willis)....With me so far?
- Once Travolta & Jackson deliver the Briefcase that's it for Jackson his character is no more thanks to the 'devine intervention' experienced at Brad's house.
- That night, Willis is scheduled for a Boxing Match and is bribed to take the fall, but pulls out.
- At that same point in time John Travolta and Uma Thurman are at the resturant doing their famous dance routine.
- After a great night out they return home and that is where Mia Wallace (Uma Thurman) has her drug overdose and they take her to the Drug Dealer's house to revive her.
- After that, (although we don't see it on screen) Travolta is ordered by Marcellus Wallace to kill Butch for failing to take the fall in the Boxing Match.
- So, next morning Travolta turns up at Butch's apartment. Butch has to return because his girlfriend forgot his Father's watch. He finds Travolta coming out of the toilet and kills him with the Uzi - End of John Travolta's character.
- Butch drives away and crashes into Marcellus Wallace, they fight and end up at the pawn shop with the gimp. After spending a couple of uncomfortable hours there. Butch kills one of the rapists with the samurai sword and leaves the other for Marcellus.
- Butch returns home on Zed's Chopper, (Zed being the rapist dressed as a Copper) picks up his girlfriend and rides off into the Sunset - End of story.

Hope that's clear enough for you. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Matt

Understand it, it will take him a week to read it.

I have told you before, when posting Gravesend supporters no more than two or three lines.

You have busted his PC.

One of the finest and best films ever made. Top class - no wonder the little Gravesend boys couldn't understand it, mind you they were probably not old enough to get in truth told, LOL.

I make films as part of my University education - To watch and understand masterpieces such as Pulp Fiction is a daily constitutional for myself and my peers.
