Spurs are at it again - Pure Vandalism!

Recommended Posts

No, that is not how it works. It is not up to Enfield Council, or any council, to decide whether or not it should consider a planning application. An Applicant, Tottenham Hotspur, or their holding company or whatever, has submitted an application for a training facility. It is not up to the council to say "but Enfield Town need a ground as well, let's wait for their application thenm decide which one we want". They must consider every application submitted within the set time limit. ETFC have not submitted one. Spurs have. There will also be several hundred other applications submitted this month, all of which must be considered. Councils do not decide who submits planning applications.

Also it is not for the council to "solve" anything for Enfield Town or Enfield FCs. Or for Enfield Lock Model Railway Club or the Palmers Green Knitting Circle. Naturally one hopes and expects them to work with the citizens of the borough for the benefit of all.

That's where the section 106 agreements come in handy as it is not the Council's money initially. It is money invested in the Council for projects by developers.

I don't believe the Council would use its own money to assist either club so why not try and use someone elses.

A rejuvenated Donkey Lane site would be ideal. However, it all depends what's higher up on the Council's agenda.

That just proves what an ignorant pr1ck you are as you do not know my views and I NEVER buy any daily paper.

Brunob.Do you or do you not, have 'The Guardian on-line',in your favourites list.Be honest.

After moaning about Arsenal moving from one borough to another 93 years ago you know want that other bunch to move part of their operation to another borough. MAKE YOUR MIND UP

I would totally oppose Spurs selling-out and moving away from WHL.Even if it was a mile down the road.Training facilities are different. They are now regulary situated around where players reside, rather than where the team play.As in Chelsea and their Surrey facitity.

Does anyone really think that they would give up any part of something that they own to help anyone else?

If it was the only way of them securing the required planning permission. Then yes.

Did Enfield council sell the facilities of the railway club or the knitting circle, and pocket £1.75 million out of it???

Enfield council sold Enfield football clubs ground for MONEY.Leaving them homeless, and with no care about what happened to either the club or the fans.

I say they owe the fans from BOTH clubs BIG TIME.

once again LS you have proved yourself to be a complete prat! Anyone who knows me, and you dont, know exactly which daily newspaper I read and it most certainly isn't the Guardian.

You assume to much with little knowledge - which just about sums you up!

I suggest you speak only about something that you have enough knowledge to form a well thought out and accurate opinion. That should keep you quiet for quite a while!

To Jim and Brunob.Sorry that i misjudged your humour levels, irony levels, and wind up-ability levels.

I will, from now on, refrain from talking about Politics or Spurs/Arsenal ever again on this forum.

If playfully accussing people of reading The Guardian ,is worthy of insults and bad language, then i have obviously misjugded the situation and the sensitivities of people on this board.

I'll be sticking to Enfield Town related matters only on this forum from now on.

Keep to facts and not accuse people of something that you have no proof of but that is not the way of you seem to go on.
