First time caller...

I don't know that they were aiming for it to taste like it does, or if the recipe went awry, but somehow it ended up tasting like p*ss water. I've gotten spoiled to the point where the only domestic beer I want to drink is Amber Bock from Michelob, and that is because it tastes like an import. Other than that, it's import or nothing. I will occasionally (very rarely) choke down something from here, but not very often.

Hi again coup!

During the war, when I was a Desert Rat, we had to use all of our survival instincts!! There could be another reason, but I am not prepared to go into that right now!

PS: Don't forget, I tried Budweiser once too..

They tell me there is a roundabout outside the ground now! The hill is still there and the ground has gone into more disrepair than ever!

How do you two know what piss water tastes like?

I don't know what the actual stuff tastes like, but Budweiser is what I imagine the taste to be. Off for another round or two of the 33 oz schooners of Blue Moon..

You seem to be quite au fait with this Blue Moon thingy (and I am sure we aren't talking flashing your ass out of a car window in winter here).

Some come on Mooey..explain for the boys this side of the pond please..

Hi Mooey!!

Blue Moon is a Belgian beer, and is quite lovely. You can see the sediment in the bottom of the bottle, because it is unfiltered. According to one site, it is a Belgian style beer brewed in Canada, but what we have bought from the offy says it is imported from Belgium. Doesn't matter where it is from, it is incredible.

Being the middle of June in Indiana, it isn't anything to do with flashing bottoms and car windows.

Talking of sediment.

We have Worthington White Shield which has the sediment in the bottom of the bottle.

Very careful pouring is needed to ensure the sediment doesn't travel into the glass with the beer, OTHERWISE, you might as well drink drain-cleaner, coz you'll spend the next morning sitting on the bog !!

White Shield is a lovely drink served cold and poured slowly.

It does accompany a good curry, though vindaloo is just a touch too hot for my taste. Madras is just fine !

Hubby thought my brother would meet his match with a vindaloo, and was disappointed when Mike didn't even break a sweat, have next day problems, or anything to show signs of weakness.
