Ware v Canvey

Ps Unc one of the reasons I have stayed a fan of Canvey is they are the club with the nearest in attitude to the Danny Blanchflower mantra as below:

'The great fallacy is that the game is first and last about winning. It's nothing of the kind. The game is about glory. It's about doing things in style, with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom.' - Danny Blanchflower

I agree with that wholeheartedly and its nice to see you 'biting' as well as ever these days...a sense of humour above winning an argument was always a requirement on here....

altho' being Hx we usually won everything as well....

good luck and catch you boxing day....

On a funny side!

It was funny!!

We went to Ware and when we got there, their fans were no Ware!!

You will meet more Muslims at a BNP rally than Ware suppporters at a home game, that was a big crowd for them!!

funny I don't think we were nowhere.
I think you will find we have more fans than most clubs you will visit this season except for the like of hornchurch enfield town bury and sudbury etc..

Yes maybe you take alot of fans for this level away with you but surely you took more than that away with you last season. If so where have they all gone??

I remember the Yellow Army out singing most of the clubs in the conference!

Some great memories of the Yellow Army in full force in the Conference. Accrington will always be the one I remember the most, but other games such as Scarborough, Stevenage, and of course Grays made for great atmospheres.
