is that because richy howard keeps banging them into the gardens behind the goals !......they're not cheap !

Nah, it's Nicky Winger's shots we worry about most. Don't think we've repaired the neighbour's greenhouse from his last effort yet!

I knew it had to be one of those two...back in our st mags days i use to have the night off when it was shooting practice!...although all those years of shooting against me hasnt done richy any harm <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Edgware are a poor team. Everbody seems to leave out that Haringey were down to 10 after 9 mins when the goalkeeper was sent off, and finished the game with 9 men! Does not say much for them!

Haringey were the better team considering that they had 10 men nearly the whole game, and the score was still 1-1 until just a couple of minutes before half time, and Edgware only scored the 3rd goal just before the end.

10 men Haringey could still have won the game and an 11 men haringey would have well beaten an un skillful, average team.

I disagree. Edgware had the lion's share of possession. Haringey were constantly losing the ball at the back, had virtually no midfield and the lone striker couldn't make the ball stick long enough to take the pressure off.

Edgware played a measured, passing game but lacked incisiveness in and around the Haringey box.

The previous two posts had everything to do with last night's game. PBT's account seems the more reliable. Having seen both Edgware (beat us 3-0) and Haringey (lost to us 9-0) I know which is the better side!

Rhodes, Mr. Achillea shook my hand last night!
You are honoured then and it must be a first, he wouldn't even shake Clement Temile's hand when he arrived at Coles Park and could only say that I had brought a new Coach to the Club without his authority, Coaches like Clement don't grow on trees at SSML level.

No change there then, he always won the raffle when I was still there, did the nice man put his ticket back and ask you to draw it again.

You said it, I think that says it all about the man.

Can opener for the worms - I have met Aki in several capacities professionally, socially (away from football at this point neither of us knew of each others involvement in football) and thereafter at football. On all of these occassions I have found him to be pleasant. I can't comment on Rhodes's experience with him but my own is he is a nice bloke. Here endith the sermon!

...
WHAT? and who are you? I have already stated that Edgware played poorly, but if you look at possesion Edgware had about 80% of the ball. We created numerous chances, and Haringey had about two, one of which they scored from.

If we are such a 'poor side' then why have won 12 games from 14 this season in all comps so far?

Isn't incredible that the only person in the universe to "not have the wool pulled over their eyes" is Rhodes. Actually it makes sense.

The list grows bigger - GIVE IT UP RHODES LEAVE THE MAN ALONE AND MOVE ON

As I keep saying I have moved on, take a look at the Premier Division and Division 1 tables. It saddens me deeply however to see the way Haringey are being run into the ground by 'Sugar', I'm sure you will all agree that they should be a huge Club in the catchment area they're in and on a par with your Barnet's and Orient's at the very least, doesn't anyone smell a rat that they languish at the bottom of the SSML Premier Division year after year and it's all doom and gloom.

As Mr. Achillea has been Chairman for only two years, I am not sure that your comments make total sense.

Also, the club have nothing like the history of Barnet & Orient who have been playing at a much higher level for much longer. The community around Haringey's ground are not the sort that are interested in grass roots football, hence the lack of attendances year in, year out.
