well taken goal from Matt Reade in the 2nd half, very very very cold the surface wasnt particulary great but Canvey created many good moves just the ball wasnt rolling as well.

Glen having to make 3 good saves with the goal line clearences from Roberts and Dobbo.

More to come later

What wasn't mentioned is that the match was barely visible during the second half. It was bloody freezing and I couldn't even see Glen down the other end of the field, whatever happened at the other end was more or less a guess.

Not an overly entertaining game, came away with three points though.

No attendance given by our League Secretary who posted the results on the ESL forum. Dunno what kind of team Brentwood put out...Probably saving themselves for this Saturday's BIG one...against us!!

Attendance was 110 I think. Bloody cold last night and foggy conditions didn't help one bit. We done what we needed to and Matt Reade took his goal well.

A tea was a £1!!!

They had no bitter either - me and Curtis had to suffer blooder lager and Bud. Went to Victoria Arms after (thanks Coup) had some REAL ale.

Their pitch was like a ploughed field - was cutting up real bad. Bad conditions really to play in.

A12 very noisey but got used to it after the first 89 mins

Think I had more mud on my bloody boots than the footballers - wasnt sure if I was standing on the path or the mud!!
