ST

You are showing your lack of maturity in taste and have swallowed the rubbish that the breweries put out with regard to beer.

I never judge a beer by what it looks like always what it tastes like. But I do have a yorkshire friend who always looks at the colour of the beer. I have had cloudy beers that tasted fine and bright beers that were off. Besides you cannot see the colour in a tankard.

The problem with you bottom fermenters is that you are only used to the taste of fizz and crave alcohol without flavour. The major breweries know that they have got you hooked and produce their "designer beers" because they know that you will drink it and pay a premium. It is easier and cheaper to brew, store and serve a lager than a good bitter yet it costs more. Why is that?

BTW Cider over ice - what's that all about?
