is now in play at the top of the ryman league north table....we need to win 4 games for the title...but if anyone below us loses on saturday that is reduced to 2 and so on and so forth...apart from someone scoring 30 goals in 6 games we could be champions in all but name against redbridge a week on saturday....

so lets see what harlow and ET and Canvey are made of.....they cannot drop any more points at all...we can lose 4 more games... laugh

Are you suggesting that in a league championship the best side does not always win? If so then I have to disagree with you. Over 38 games or more in different leagues, the most consistent side will amass the most points and win the title - fact.

In very rare instances, such as 1989 after Hillsborough, you got a strange situation where the only sides capable of winning the title play each other in the final game of the season and the possibility of either side winning the championship right to the final whistle.

Getting back to the Ryman table, the facts speak for themselves. Hornchurch have won more games, amassed more points and are therefore top of the table.
