Well mine started today thanks to our striking postmen convincing me to take the day off! (although we had a delivery today and I saw a postman later on who said he was only striking on Saturday and Monday ) Had a super day wandering round Leith Hill and Box Hill (viewing Meadowbank's lush pitch through binoculars ), in warm autumn sunshine.

As for tomorrow....AFCW home to Maidstone.

Well that was a hectic weekend !

 

2 Grand-Kids to stay-over.

 

Newdigate Saturday morning to watch only grand-son play.

 

Under 14 Girls at Meadowbank Sunday morning which I couldn't make to do a match report. Dorking won 7-3 with Grand-Daughter scoring 4 and getting 'Player-of-the-Match'-- AND I HAD TO MISS IT - GRRRR !

 

Left for Chichester City at 8:45 for the Chix Under 18s. Only had ten players and were six down at half time. The 2nd half was ours, when we pulled back to 6-2. Our fitness training is really paying off. 3 of the Chichester Girls down with cramp at the same time and their physio stumped as to what to do.

 

By the way, Kroons - I can whole-heartedly recommend Maccy D's on the A.27 roundabout as you leave Chichester. A luvvlly lunch.
