The latest "Massey's Mutterings" on the website shows Steve in another photo which although he can look back now and laugh, at the time his manager, Brian Horton at Hull City, didn't think the same.

Congratulations to Camelford at winning the SWPL Division One West today. They only lost twice all season, but it's not been until today, the penultimate game of the season that they were able to clinch promotion.
What a turnaround!
From trailing 1-0 at half-time, City came out after the break and looked a different side. They made the one change at the break - Danny Clay coming on in the middle of the park with Marcus Martin going out left replacing Dan Smith.

Just what do I mean by my heading?
Well the clock changes this weekend, meaning the evenings games will start throughout the Cornish football world, and with this will come a handful of scorelines each week that will somehow defy the logic of the season league form so far!

Tomorrow Torpoint Athletic await the arrival of Billingham Synthonia, who surely must be making the longest trip of the round.
The Vase has always meant something very special to the Cornish football followers, even before Truro City won it at the new Wembley in 2007, we were getting more than excited with the exploits of mainly Falmouth Town, St Blazey and Porthleven.
