FF News
Combined Counties League Division One club Sheerwater have announced the departure of their entire management team. Joint-manager Dave Robertson announced the previous Saturday before the AFC Croydon match that he would not be continuing due to personal reasons. Robertson's partner John Cook announced that the 2-1 defeat at Alton Town on Saturday would be his last due to the financial side and other reasons. First-team coach Jim Tigwell also announced he was leaving as he was brought in by Cook. The club feel the timing of the departures are disappointing in the middle of the season, as well as contesting survival with the Football Association to remain in the Combined Counties League. The club will carry on with the present reserve management team taking over first-team duties for the time being and will be looking for the complete backing from the players to remain with Sheerwater for the rest of the season.
