A good win for Lutterworth Athletic last night albeit they made hard work of it against decent Leicestershire Senior League Premier Division opposition, Alex Rhodes, Jake Gardener, Jes Adcock, Charlie Adcock and Jake Smith all netted. The Club now look forward to a Quarter Final home tie against Asfordby FC or St Andrews FC who lock horns this eveing (9 November):

There was some doubt about this tie earlier on today due to the freezing conditions however I gather it is going ahead as planned. Ingles FC have only plied their trade at Homestead Road (pictured) in Thringstone, North West Leicestershire, for over a year having previously groundshared with Shepshed Dynamo:

The other Semi Final tie is between Birstall United Social and Ashby Ivanhoe:

A ultra pernickety pitch inspecting Official caused a twelfth hour postponement of the tie last Wednesday evening, they try again on Tuesday (14 February), at Lutterworth Athletic, kick off 7.45pm). The eventual winners of the tie will meet Ashby Ivanhoe in 'a winner takes all' Final of the competition:
