No Pressure Says Leatherhead Boss

Leatherhead boss Richard Brady is taking the pressure off his players ahead of a vital run of games.

Tanners have one win from four Ryman Premier Division games since the turn of the year, leaving them on the cusp of being pulled into a relegation scrap.

Last weekend's 2-0 defeat at mid-table Billericay leave Tanners in 14th, nine points above the relegation places.

Brady takes his men to Tonbridge Angels this weekend in the first of four matches against teams beneath them in the table, and all bar bottom club Bury Town have games in hand.

The Angels are two spots below Tanners, who were promoted to the Ryman top flight last season, and last time out, the Kent side took all the points at Fetcham Grove.

Brady said: "As we're newly promoted, every game we play can be seen as a tough game.

"We just have to go out there, concentrate on our own game and keep putting in these good performances.

"Rather than looking down the table, we prefer to look up."

He added: "We played really well in the first half [at Billericay], but their keeper made some great saves, and early in second half they've crashed one in from 30 yards."

Brady has no injury concerns ahead of this weekend's game.
