Ryman Premier Margate have unveiled Paul Robinson as the manager of their U21's side for the 2015-16 campaign.

Margate's U21's return to action in the Ryman U21 League next season after last year's decision by club officials not to enter a team into the league this term.

Robinson, who has already been working alongside the U18's at Hartsdown Park this season, works for Charlton Athletic as their social inclusion officer in Kent and brings a wealth of experience in the development of young players.

He has also worked at Millwall and spent several years as a coach in the USA and Margate FC director John Webb is delighted that they've been able to appoint a coach of his calibre.

Webb said: "The U21’s/Development squad is going to be a really important part of the football club moving forward and we are delighted to be able to unveil Paul as our new manager for the U21's next season.

"Paul has a vast amount of experience in developing players so hopefully he can do the same here."

In Tuesday's statement announcing Robinson's appointment, Gate officials said they expected to release more details of their new U21 squad as well as trial dates in the coming days.
