The Hive will stage a fixture between the Three Lions youngsters and Mexico on Wednesday 25 March And it is the first time an England team will have played at the Hive, a venue which was originally developed as Barnet’s training ground in 2009. Former England manager Fabio Capello and director of football development Sir Trevor Brooking officially opened the facility at the time, before the club made it their home stadium in 2013 after leaving their previous ground at Underhill.
