FF News
Vanarama Conference North leaders Barrow AFC have announced that they have agreed to join forces with the Ulverston based charity, St Mary’s Hospice. The hospice will have their name displayed on the front of the first-team’s shirts for the 2015/16 campaign. St Mary’s Hospice provide specialised supportive and palliative care for people with life limiting conditions throughout South Cumbria. Their facilities are available to adults who are facing the end of life, regardless of diagnosis, and those who love and care for them and the bereaved. This partnership brings together two pillars of the community to promote and build up the Furness area. Barrow are proud of the step forward this partnership represents in terms of the growing commitment the club has to using the platform of sport to bring community, business, and the public together to shape the future of this area.
