Vanarama National League North club Boston United`s goalkeeper Jason Alexander has signed a new one-year contract at The Jakemans Stadium.

The 18-year-old initially arrived at the club, via the under-21 set-up, on non-contract terms but has now pledged his allegiance to the United cause for the remainder of the season.

Alexander impressed on his senior debut against Solihull Moors on Tuesday and is expected to continue in goal against Curzon Ashton on Saturday.

The contract also includes a further year's option.

Fellow goalkeeper Sam Vince, 19, meanwhile, has joined Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division South side Lincoln United on a dual registration basis.
