Poor form prompts managerial changes announced at AFC Hayes

Managerial changes have been announced at AFC Hayes, with Sean Berry replacing Paul Palmer as their new manager.

A statement on the club website said:

"After recent poor performances and results the Club Committee feel it is the right time to make changes to the Club's Football Management.

Therefore,with immediate effect,Manager Paul Palmer and his Assistant Matt Penfold have left the club.

AFC Hayes would like to put on record their appreciation for the hard work & commitment both Paul & Matt have given during their time with AFC Hayes and wish them well in the future.

AFC Hayes have appointed Sean Berry as 1st Team Manager & his Assistant will be Cristian Barrett.

Sean is an ex Brook House(AFC Hayes}player and played at a higher levelfor among others Yeading FC.He has wide experience of the local Non-League scene & is well known for promoting & developing young players.

Cristianb Barrett is an experienced & respected player in local football having played for Aylesbury & Southall among others.

On behalf of AFC Hayes I would like to congratulate them on their appointment and wish them success for the future.
