FF News
The Board of Directors of Woking Football Club Limited have not been requested to agree a transfer of shares from Peter Jordan to anyone either individually or as part of a consortium. When the Board first became aware of the possible transfer of shares they invited Ashley Read to a meeting and requested information on members of a possible consortium. The names were not forthcoming at that meeting but the Board agreed to release the simple financial information requested by Read on receipt of a signed non-disclosure agreement as is good business practice. If the Board receives a request for a transfer of shares leading to a new majority shareholder this triggers the need for approval by the Board under Woking FC Articles of Association but no such request has yet been received. It is a private matter for Jordan to agree with Read any transfer of his shares and then pass that information to the Board for approval.
