FF News
Darlington manager Martin Gray thought that Quakers’ performance “wasn’t bad” at Barwell on Saturday. Quakers missed a chance to go second with the 2-1 setback on Leicestershire – only the third on the road in the league this season — and Gray said; “I didn’t think it was a bad performance, and in some stages of the game we did ever so well. We could have scored a couple of goals from setpieces. “We were unlucky with the first goal, because the ball took a massive deflection and wrongfooted Peter Jameson. “The second one was sloppy from our point of view, and because of that, we gave ourselves a mountain to climb. “I didn’t think it was a bad performance, but having said that, we’ll be working on a couple of things in training this week. “One thing we can’t affect are the conditions, they were horrendous.” Source: www.darlingtonfootballclub.co.uk Source
