The following statement was released on the club website: "We regret to inform you all that our Vice President and Honorary Secretary Steve Hall passed away suddenly sometime late Sunday / early Monday. Stephen was not only Honorary Club Secretary but a Vice President of the Club and Chairman of H-K-L North Midlands Development Football League. Steve's near 30 years experience at the Club proved invaluable in the running of 'The World's First Football Club'. We do not have any further details at the moment; however we will be giving more details on the Sheffield FC website about Steve and the funeral arrangements as soon as we have them.
