Nyoni contract terminated after disciplinary breach

Due to unacceptable breaches in the club`s code of conduct, Cecil Nyoni has been released from his contract with Harrogate Town with immediate effect

Nyoni failed to show up for Town’s 4-2 defeat to Chorley on Bank Holiday Monday and also missed the win over Stockport County on Boxing Day.

He signed for Harrogate from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division South side Goole AFC a year ago.

Nyoni had only joined the Vikings in October 2014 from league rivals Stocksbridge Park Steels.

He was previously on the books of Sheffield Wednesday where he made a number of first-team appearances.

He then joined Nottingham Forrest before having spells at Boston United, Frickley Athletic, Worksop Town, Matlock Town and Stocksbridge.

He was part of the revival which steered Town clear of the relegation zone last season before starting the opening eleven games this year.
