St Albans City have confirmed that Harry Wheeler will continue in his role as first-team manager until the end of the season.

Mark Boyce, Rhys Thom and Sam Backhouse will also continue as his backroom staff.

The club have also announced the appointment of Adam Lee as director of football.

Lee has a wealth of management experience along with a strong knowledge of playing matters and contacts.

His remit will be to oversee all football business matters on behalf of the chairman and club owners.

Other matters include Tom Norman now officially being appointed football secretary and will assume this role alongside his commercial activities.

The first priority of the team is to make sure the club maintains its status in National League South and the owners and chairman believe that keeping continuity along with adding experience to the management team is essential to achieving this goal.
