Ried, 20, has scored 16 goals in all competitions this season so far and joined the Pics in February 2015, opening up with a brace on his debut in a 3-2 Evo-Stik Premier Division win at Ramsbottom United. Pics' Vice-Chairman, Nick Allen feels that the commitment is a reward for Alex's hard work and the influence of Manager, Richard Sneekes, Assistant, Steve Hinks and his teammates on his career in his time at the club, 'Alex is a young man with talent and ability, who is starting to flourish under the influence of Richard, Steve and his fellow players and we feel that there is a lot more to come during his time at the Pics. Stability in his career at this stage will allow him to further develop his game and score lots of vital goals as a quick and skilful forward player.
