Pre-season friendlies

I know it's a bit early but I can't get to Saturdays match, so I'm already looking forward to next season.

Have any been announced yet?

Hopefully this year we will have a stable summer and start the season in the right frame of mind.

What could go wrong this summer, apart fromm Booty and Hodges being signed up by league clubs.

Have we not paid our rent to W+E?

On the issue of paying our rent, how about ensuring we get value for money.

 

The provision of some cover at the ends of the ground would bring W&E up to the level of the other clubs in this leauge.

 

There are lowly teams like Egham and Casuals who manage to have cover on all four sides of the pitch, so is it not time that W&E pulled their fingers out and got building or do they want us to build it for them!!!

 

Last night was a joke

 

If every one tried to squeze under the tins oppersite the stand they would not have fitted.

Comfortable scenario for the summer:

No hassles with grounds/money and the nucleus of the squad (if not all) stay intact with a few additions.

 

Ideal situation:

See above, but with some exciting signings and the starting of building work on a brand spanking new ground.

Well, despite my well documented anti-Deaner spiel this year, we have been relatively stable (at least it appears so), so we may yet get it lucky and fair play to the chairman if he has pulled out all the strings and got us running normally...

 

Think we will be more than lucky to have building work start on a new ground, would be more than happy to simply have us back in at Wexham Park if only for an interim measure until a new ground was built.

 

We can but dream...
