Well we can't get a win for love nor money. They say winning is a habit and we just can't get a break at the moment. The lads were excellent today. Can't take nothing away from them. A few changes and the attitude, committment and passion was there. But our quality in the final third was poor. Unfortunately we can't find the net and when you don't score you are always nervous at the other end. Must say the ref was very good today no complaints and the linesman too, bar one stupid decision. Apsa player when down like a sag of S**t in the 10th min the ref waves play on but the lino flags. Surely the ref has the final say and he had a good view and waved played on. Anyway they scored and then proceeded to defend with 11 behind the ball. We must have had 80% possession, 10 shots at goal but, like when you are struggling, we couldn't find the target. We just struggled in the final third. If we could defend a goal we would win. Must say Apsa work very hard, are very fit and have a great team spirit. They are much better than last year. But they have no real quality. They will surprize people but if we scored one we would have scored 6. Roll on Wednesday and Barking. Nice to follow a defeat with an easy game!!!

The Abbots reckoned they were playing well and yet they lost 2 - 0 to the APSA. I reckon this race is far from over.

You are right Compo. The league is much stronger this year. Whereas 2 or 3 teams were seen as easy games now even the bottom side can beat the top side.
