I've just been told some very sad news in that Dick Marshall passed away at the weekend. It was great to have him around the place whenever he'd come to cover our games, and will always remember him jumping on the supporters bus up to Scarborough on a Tuesday night to get his report in. A true gent of both the media and non league football who will be missed.

Dick was a true Gent who always had alot of time and affection for our club.

His precence will be very much missed in the Press Box at the Brockwell Stadium and around the non league local scene.

RIP Dick

Very sad - please let us know if you hear of any funeral details.

Thoughts go to his family.

Thanks.

Dick was a true gent whom i shared many a laugh with in the press box during our time in the Ryman & Conference League. He will be sorely missed by all local football friends of the many clubs he covered.
My thoughts are with his family at this sad time.

Rest in peace Dick.
