I was pleasently surprised with our 1-1 draw at your place on Saturday but please can you answer my question where sis the ref find all that injury time and what was the first penalty given for? Good luck next saturday

The first half penalty was given I assume because Danny Bolt was given a little tug as he wriggled into the penalty area. The ref screwed up by not blowing straight away but instead waiting to see what Chenery (I think) did with the loose ball.
Stoppage time in the first half was due to the prolonged dissent from the mountainous No 4 which seemed to last for ages. Just how much dissent do you have to show to get a card in those circumstances?
Ref also showed conflicting interpretation of the advantage rule in the second half ruling out a goal he could have allowed if he'd waited about 1 nanosecond to see what happened and then later allowing a Sutton player to chase the ball half the length of the pitch before bringing play back for a freekick about 15 secs after the foul.
All in all a poor official who seemed to like shouting at the players a lot.
