AFC Sudbury Manager Jamie Godbold has made a transfer deadline day signing to strengthen his first team squad by re-signing defender Scott Mitchell from Leiston.

Mitchell was originally signed for AFC by former manager David Batch in August 2013 before leaving in July 2014 for Leiston from where he re-joins Sudbury.

Godbold said "Scott is a superb acquisition to a very exciting squad, and I am pleased to welcome him back to AFC Sudbury.
He is a very talented footballer, and brings with him a wealth of experience to help our young side at such an important stage of the season".

Another player signed on Ryman League forms is a young defender Harry Seal from Witham Town. He played for the Res/U21's on Saturday and unfortunately got himself sent off after the final whistle.
