FF News
Vanarama National League South crowds at Maidenhead United`s York Road this season rose 18% to a best in a generation average of 482. The Magpie fans proved their loyalty above and beyond the FA Cup run by flocking to York Road week in, week out from August to April to cheer the team on and were rewarded for their support by Alan Devonshire's team achieving a home record only bettered by champions Sutton United. It was no surprise therefore that Saturday's half-time announcement that admission and season ticket prices for next season are to be frozen was greeted with loud cheers from the terraces.
