FF News
New Bradford Park Avenue manager Mark Bower has appointed Danny Boshell as his assistant. The pair worked together at Guiseley in Bower's previous managerial position, where Boshell held a player-assistant role, and he will take up the same position at Avenue. The 35-year-old midfielder made 186 league appearances over the last six years at Nethermoor, and was appointed assistant to Bower upon his appointment in 2013. Prior to Guiseley, Boshell spent prolonged periods at Grimsby Town and Oldham Athletic, where he came through the ranks. He has also featured for Bury, Stockport and Altrincham throughout his career. Boshell lines up alongside his brother Nicky, who moved to Avenue in the summer for his third spell at the club. He goes straight into the Avenue squad for this Saturday's trip to near neighbours FC Halifax Town. Former assistant Matt Hill will continue in his coaching role with the Avenue Academy alongside Alex Meechan, and will remain a player in Bower and Boshell's squad.
