FF News
Defender Kevin Amankwaah and midfielder Nicky Bailey have this week agreed one year extensions to their contracts with Sutton United which will keep them at the club to the end of next season. Manager Paul Doswell was delighted, saying: "Kevin and Nicky are both experienced players who have been outstanding for us so far this season and it's a real boost for us that they've committed to us for the extra year" Doswell has also agreed a month's loan deal with Portsmouth for left back Brandon Haunstrup. The defender, who will be 20 next week, played for Pompey in the pre-season friendly at Gander Green Lane in July, and is in his second season on a professional contract after graduating through the Fratton Park youth ranks. Paul explained: "George McLennan has played about half an hour's football in the last five months, so we don't want to do too much with him too quickly and with Dan Spence injured Brandon will help us in that position while George eases his way back in to action."
