FF News Posted March 28, 2017 Share Posted March 28, 2017 In preparation for next season, Toolstation NCEL Premier Division side AFC Mansfield have announced the appointment of a new commercial manager, Brian Stokes. Brian currently works for Family Fund, a disability charity, and his varied career path has seen him work in the House of Lords and secretary of York Pride, a prominent organisation within the city. He has even done a stint as Yorkie the Lion, York City’s club mascot. Brian will be responsible for maintaining an already good commercial operation at the club and further enhancing and expanding their links. He said: "I have always been a massive football fan, and have been looking for an opportunity in the sport for a long time. "The people owning the club are true football people and they have a fantastic setup here in Forest Town. "AFC Mansfield have great ambition and I look forward to playing a key role in helping them fulfil this."
