I'm sure I'm not the only one sitting at home feeling helpless and not really fully understanding the exact minutaie of the situation as it currently stands. So a meeting seems like a good idea. In particular, we don't really know the details of bids tabled and rejected, and its a dead cert the fat controller isn't going to enlighten us. Aff mentioned holding a meeting on another thread and even if we do leave the meeting more desperate and depressed than on entering it, I for one would at least like to get together with everyone else who really cares and sort out facts from fiction. I get the impression that things have worsened over the last day or two, but sitting at home reading bickering Enfield supporters, Harding's aliases, and Clair's pulling isn't really going to make any of us feel better.
So let's get anyone out there who has any interest in saving the club together quickly and talk. The St.Albans Observer has backed the club to the hilt recently. Let's show them it's a cause worth fighting for.

as an addendum to my previous message, who thinks we should ask the majority shareholder to chair a fans forum? After all, he is still the majority shareholder and in the new spirit of oppeness he invoked at the last fans forum one would expect him to be prepared to face the "militant fans" and put us all in the picture. Also, I'm wondering how his plans for the new stand are coming along?

I suppose he could always borrow Mike Tyson's bodyguards for the night...
