Ryman League Division One North club AFC Sudbury have announced that they have sold defender Jack Wilkinson for an undisclosed fee.

The Hadleigh-based player has agreed to join up with former manager David Batch at Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division side St Neots Town.

Director Richard Instance said: "Jack wanted to be given the chance to step up a level, we not not want to stand in his way and a satisfactory deal was agreed. We wish him well."

Wilkinson joined The Suds last season from Haverhill Rovers, and was previously with Needham Market.

In his time with the club, he made forty-five appearances and scored three goals.
