FF News Posted January 14, 2015 Share Posted January 14, 2015 Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division North club Bamber Bridge have announced the departure of defender George Bowyer. The 25-year-old, who prominently plays at right full-back, has moved on to Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division side Ramsbottom United. He started his career with Rochdale, where he was named captain of the reserve and youth teams during his time at Spotland, and also made a single senior appearance in the last game of the 2007-08 season. Bowyer has been with Brig since 2009, and he also works for the Professional Footballers' Association.
