FF News
Kyle Dixon believes that he can begin to play the best football of his career - now the pressure is off. The midfielder returned to the Jakemans Stadium - where he has enjoyed two previous loan spells - last week after his Notts County contract was terminated. And now that his future is secured, the 20-year-old, who has signed a contract with the Pilgrims until the end of next season, says that he can now concentrate solely on his game, rather than constantly trying to impress two managers. "I felt a lot of pressure to do well at Boston," said Dixon. "Not just because I wanted to do well for the team, but because there was extra pressure with Notts. "I felt like I had to exceed their expectations to show I could do a job for the club." But now Dixon is a Pilgrim he says his sole focus is to help United climb the league table. "Boston's the only club I wanted to join, I really enjoy it here," he told The Standard. "The manager's shown faith in me by offering me a contract until the end of next season, he didn't have to do that. "Now I want to help this club get to the highest level possible."
