FF News
Corby Town Football Club have extended the loan of central defender Hervé Pepe-N’Goma from Leicester City until the end of the 2014/15 season. N’Goma is an 18-year-old central defender, who was voted as the Barclays Premier League club’s Academy Player of the Year last season. The Frenchman, who has progressed through the academy at Leicester City, captained the Under 18’s in 2013/14 and has been tipped for a very bright future in the professional game. He already has experience of playing at Steel Park, having completed 90 minutes for the Leicester City XI against Corby Town during pre-season. He initially joined Corby on a one-month loan deal at the end of January, however will now remain at Steel Park until the conclusion of the season. Corby Town assistant manager David Clarke told corbytownfc.co.uk; “We’ve organised for him to stay until the end of the season, which I think is great for Corby Town. “It speaks volumes that a young player of his calibre that plays regularly in the U21’s Premier League at Leicester wants to come and play his football here. "It's excellent to see and shows that we are doing things right at the club.” Source: www.corbytownfc.co.uk Source
