FF News
Torquay United manager Chris Hargreaves has insisted that the Gulls have already put last weekend's FA Trophy exit behind them. The visitors from Wrexham extended their slender lead from the Second Leg after 64 minutes and killed the game with two more in quick succession, but the wounds have been licked. AFC Telford United travel to TQ1 on Saturday and the Gulls will be desperate to bring back Yellow smiles with a positive performance. “We were disappointed with last week but we move on quickly,” said Hargreaves. “It was a competition where we scored 12 goals and conceded none to reach the Semi-Finals. “We had a bad 15 minutes in the Second Leg and it was a game where the first goal was crucial. It was a tense affair until then and they got the goal. We had a bad spell but I’m certainly not going to vilify the lads because of that. “They will learn from it and I’ll learn from it. We are gutted that we couldn’t give the fans the trip to Wembley they deserve for their support, but we move on to important League games.” Source: www.torquayunited.com Source
