Vanarama Conference club Welling United are hosting a Ladies Day in aid of Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust on April 11th.

The club has agreed to give free entry to all females for their match against Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday in return for a small donation to Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust.

Thanks to the generosity of the Football Conference we have also been given dispensation to play in a special one off Pink kit, each of which has been sponsored by local businesses and individuals raising funds for the charity.

Welling have been supported by local ladies teams Parkwood Rangers Ladies, Charlton Athletic Ladies and Gillingham Ladies FC along with a host of leading names in the woman’s football fraternity who have endorsed and lent their support to this event.
Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust is the UK's only charity dedicated to women, their family and friends affected by cervical cancer and cervical abnormalities. It was established by James Maxwell following the death of his wife, Jo (aged 40), from cervical cancer in 1999.

Each year in the UK around 3,000 women are diagnosed with cervical cancer and around 300,000 women are told that they have an abnormality which may require treatment.

Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust is there to ensure that women and their loved ones never feel alone at all stages of their journey by providing easily accessed information and supports 24 hours a day.

Anyone who is unable to attend on the day can still support the charity by making a donation via the Welling United club shop before and after the game or by contacting Welling United commercial manager Paul White. Email commercialwufc@gmail.com
