As statement on the club website said "Ash has completed 350 appearances and given ten years dedicated service to City. In return, the club are proud and delighted to announce a testimonial match for Jake. In what is a developing bond between the two clubs, Bill Phillips, Torquay Utd Vice Chairman has kindly agreed to bring his first team to Treyew Road on Saturday 25th July. As it happens, Jake's birthday is the following day, so this promises to be a fantastic weekend. Everyone should make an effort to support Jake on this day and watch a fascinating game including past and present Truro City legends.
