FF News
Nuneaton Town manager Liam Daish is to step down following relegation from the Vanarama Conference. Daish will depart Boro after his return to St Andrews on Thursday, when he will be leading out his team in the final of the Birmingham Senior Cup against his former club Birmingham City. Daish took the reins in September and based himself in Nuneaton in an apartment which the club provided. The Board of Directors have placed on the record its thanks and appreciation to Liam Daish who faced a massive challenge to improve the squad he inherited. Chairman Lee Thorn said: "Liam has carried out his role professionally, he has worked extremely hard to bring in players and has developed a strong mentality throughout the club. After an open and honest meeting last week we unfortunately failed to agree terms. “It was concluded that the Birmingham Senior Cup final at St Andrews on Thursday would be his last game."
