Gladiators kit deal means they have Gulliver on their travels

Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Matlock Town have unveiled local theme park Gulliver’s Kingdom as their new away shirt sponsors.

The Gladiators announced on Tuesday that they will run out on the opening day of the top flight campaign at Frickley Athletic on Saturday with the distinctive logo of the family amusement park adorning their 2015-16 away kit.

Skipper Danny Holland is pictured sporting the new away strip and a delighted Matlock Town chairman Tom Wright said: “I’m really pleased that Gulliver’s has decided to get involved with the club and I’m sure the partnership will be a great success.”

After starting out at Matlock Bath in 1978 as a model village, Gulliver's Kingdom now operates three UK theme parks catering for children aged two to 13 and their families.

Gulliver’s Kingdom's Richard Welby said: “A lot of our visitors and staff members are Matlock Town fans so we’re delighted to show our support for the local club and wish them all the best for the new season.”

To celebrate the sponsorship agreement, Matlock Town's new sponsors are also offering fans a £10 discount on replica kit now on sale at the club's shop using a downloadable voucher available on their website - www.gulliversfun.co.uk/matlock-bath.
