FF News
Shaun Garnett says that Tranmere Rovers need strong characters to stand up and be counted as they look to put Saturday's defeat against Braintree Town behind them. He told Tranmere Player: "We're certainly not happy, both as a management team and the players. We know it's not good enough at the moment and together we'll work even harder to try and get it right. "When we win, we win as a group, and when we lose, it is also as a group. It was hard to take on Saturday. A club like Tranmere Rovers needs to be doing better and we need to address that. We need to man up and put things right. "There is something missing, the cogs aren't turning as smoothly as they should be and we will work very, very hard to put that right." Garnett says that there is a lot of hard work to be done to help push Rovers back up the National League standings. He added: "Hard work is the most important thing, we need to make sure we work harder than the opposition so we'll be working hard in training to right these wrongs. "We'll be doing a lot of unit work, working with the defenders and the strikers. Hopefully, we'll then be able to put the two together and get an end product which is winning games."
