A statement on the Jammers website read "First Team Manager, David Wright has left the club. David has joined Colchester United as the Assistant Manager to their newly announced manager, Kevin Keen. David has been at the club since the beginning of the season when he replaced Kevin Watson and has lead the club to 14th position in the league table. Wright's Assistant, Liam Bailey will be in charge of the team for our game against Tilbury on Boxing Day.
