FF News
Off the back of his two-goal showing against Chelmsford City, Weston-Super-Mare captain Dayle Grubb spoke of his pride in his teams’ defensive showing and his happiness in being back on the scoresheet. Speaking to club's Press Officer, Sam Frost, the skipper said “I think we didn’t play as well in the first half as we have been doing, but we still caused problems. In the second half we created a lot of chances and defended brilliantly to keep a clean sheet defending the wind.” Grubb jokily added, “To be fair their ‘keeper sorted me out for the first goal but I needed that luck because it’s been a while, but buzzing to finally score a goal that meant something and got us the points.” Source: www.westonsmareafc.co.uk Source
